Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer is terrifying if you are like me, a wuss who’s terrified by dolls and puppets. Otherwise, it’s a well polished point-and-click game, with very challenging puzzles, horribly good graphics, a scary story and great sound design.
The game makes you do things that you really, really would rather not be doing. This is no surprise since the game originates from the land of the Bava’s and the Fulci’s (Italy).
The introduction is off-putting, with a voice actor who reads his text like he’s narrating Spot the Dog. Apart from that, FM Game Studio has treated us with a good horror point-and-click game.
To fully enjoy Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer, wait for nightfall and turn off the lights.
